Professionals
The work environment can bring purpose and growth — but it can also lead to burnout, anxiety, and emotional strain. Brief psychoanalysis offers a safe and focused space to explore these challenges, reconnect with meaning, and care for your mental health.
Teenagers
Adolescence is a time of discovery, doubt, and intensity. When emotions feel overwhelming or hard to understand, psychoanalysis can help bring words to what’s being felt — opening up new paths and ways of seeing oneself.
Bilinguals
Growing up between two languages and cultures can be enriching — but also challenging. Bilingual clinical listening provides a welcoming space for children and adolescents to express, in any language, what they feel and who they are.
Parents
We can’t always help our children on our own. When sudden changes in behavior, sadness, anxiety, or ongoing conflicts arise, seeking professional support is an act of care — for them, and for yourself.
Women with breast cancer

As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand the fears, uncertainties, and emotional impact this diagnosis causes.
My listening is welcoming, unhurried, and sensitive to the experiences of those who go through this journey, from diagnosis to rebuilding their lives.
About me

I am a psychoanalyst, specialized in neuro-psychoanalysis, focusing on the care of adults and adolescents who face emotional conflicts related to work, identity, family or life stage.
Before working in the clinic, I worked as an executive, engineer and lawyer — which helps me understand, in practice, the suffering of those who live under pressure. I am also the mother of two bilingual children, which brought me closer to the psychological care of children and adolescents who grow up between worlds.
The experience of facing and overcoming breast cancer profoundly transformed my clinical and human perspective. I began to listen with even more presence and empathy to those going through moments of crisis, rupture or new beginning.
I provide services in Portuguese, English or both languages — always with active listening, clinical focus and hospitality.
Approach
I don’t believe it takes years of analysis to create meaningful change. My approach is brief psychoanalysis: a space for focused, sensitive listening with a defined time. I work with a central conflict — the thing that hurts, confuses or weighs most at the moment — so that we can look at it with depth, but also with direction.
This form of listening has been especially helpful for those who are under pressure, facing difficult transitions, or simply feel like they need help understanding what is going on inside them.
My books
Writing was a way of transforming experiences into words that could welcome, enlighten and inspire other people. Each of my books was born from a profound experience — as a mother, patient, professional or analyst — and carries a bit of the listening and care that I also bring to my office.
Read now
Sensitive reflections on bilingualism from early childhood to adolescence, based on my experience with children and patients raised between different languages and cultures.
